I speak with internationally renowned artist and educator, Georges Le Chevallier. He will take us through his art and explains how he uses Shubui and chefs dishes as inspiration plus how he combines food and spices to create his painting. Georges Le Chevallier, the youngest son of a French father and a Puerto Rican mother, was born in Paris, France, and grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He studied painting at the “Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando” in Madrid, Spain, received his BFA degree in Drawing and Painting from California State University in Long Beach, and earned his MFA degree in Painting at Hunter College in New York City. For the last 25 years he has exhibited his artworks both nationally and internationally in galleries and museums.
